The minimum age for a tattoo is 16. The Ohio Board of Health requires that all minors (age 16-17) must come accompanied by their parent or legal guardian. We need an ID from the adult, an ID from the minor, and the minor's birth certificate. The name of the parent on the birth certificate must match the name on their ID. If the adult is a legal guardian, guardianship papers are required to prove legal guardianship. *This is a Board of Health requirement and by no means are we able to bend or break this rule. Adults, age 18 and up must have their ID to receive services, that's it!

When it comes down to it, that is what most people really want to know! Actually, getting a tattoo is not very painful nowadays because modern tattoo equipment is such that the needles go in and out of your skin very quickly. You'll be able to carry on a normal conversation while getting a tattoo
